This blog introduces Chinese folk religions and culture to readers in the West. It is also my experimental field of Digital Ethnography. The content of the blog includes two parts: (1) Chinese folk religion/culture and (2) the "political folklore" in China that is embodied in movies, news reports, revolutionary songs and people's daily expressions. "Political folklore" is the term I give to the so-evident practice in China and I will theorize it in near future with critical discourse analysis.
